I am a drawing/painting student who crossed over to pottery in 2003.
I craft a wide variety of pieces, both handbuilt and wheel-thrown.
March 2005 - present: Studio Assistant
I have been a studio assistant for a professional potter for more than two years.
Under her tutelage I have learned many other aspects of claywork - from the construction
and assembling of mosaics {both retail and commercial}, to the use/care of
technical equipment {kilns, slab rollers, extruding, etc.}.
July 2006: I was privileged to take a human sculpture class in Brisbane, Australia .
